Over the past couple of weeks a new force has emerged which looks set to transform the face of Thetford Town Centre. The 'Sort It' group on Facebook has the aim of landing the town a place as one of Mary Portas' pilots for a television program on regenerating town centres.
Whether it achieves this aim or not, I think this group heralds a turning point for the town as a forum for all the residents of the town to have their say. It is fostering a real sense of community and I like it.
